The Straith Clinic doctors perform brow lift surgery in our Michigan surgery suites. Currently there are two types of brow
lifts. The endoscopic brow lift is more frequently performed
and has the advantage of less recovery and minimal scars. It
involves small incisions in the hair that are used to help elevate
the forehead and eyebrow tissues. These tissues are then re-attached
back to their previous, youthful position. No tissue is excised.
The coronal brow lift involves an incision across the top of
the head. This procedure is performed less frequently and is
generally reserved for older individuals who have more significant
drooping of the brows. Both procedures will remove portions
of the muscles that cause frown lines between the eyebrows.
These procedures will improve the appearance of this area as
well as the upper eyelids.
